Jayden's 3rd Birthday

I can't believe my little BABY is 3 years old. He has grown up so fast. It seems like yesterday it was Easter Sunday and I was holding that new born Angle in my arms. Now he has already learned how to roll his eyes and give Mommy attitude! But at night and early in the morning he still lets me hold him like a baby and rock him.

We kicked off his birthday at school with the "Celebration of Life Ceremony" (private Montessori school don't have birthdays or sugar) Jayden was happy just to be the center of attention! We brought cupcakes for the class that my very talented girlfriend made with grass on top and soccer balls but of course since we broke the schools no sugar rule they scraped all the icing off. But none of the kids seemed to mind!

Jayden is about to walk around the sun with the world 3 times to show he is 3 years old.

Eating Cupecakes with Jayden and his class. (all the kids fought over who would get to sit next to Jayden is is LOVED by his class mates.

This year Jayden has been to several parities with bounce houses. So for his birthday all he wanted was a bounce house and to ride the train! So we did two different train rides for his birthday to two different restaurants and then we had his BOUNCE house party at Aunt Stephies house. Those boys jumped for 3 hours without stopping! I think he had a GREAT 3rd birthday. Now all I have to figure out is how to top it for 4th!

Cousins

At the end of February we went to Baton Rouge for my Cousin Gina's baby shower for Cullen and for my other Cousin Kathryn's little girl Noa's baptism. We had such a great time because not only do I get to see all my girl cousins but Jayden got to see his favorite person in the world his 2nd cousin Thomas. The boys are like two peas in a pod, they absolutely LOVE to play together.

While all the girls were at Gina's shower Jayden and Thomas went with Chris, Ra-paw, and Uncle Dan to the zoo. They had a blast! The favorite part of the zoo was climbing on things (not sure if they noticed the animals or not) ha ha. All I know is when they returned the grownups were very very tired and the boys were still running around the house! **of coarse there are no pics at the zoo because we sent the men**

I think the best part of the weekend was watching the boys in Church. I had this great idea that I would walk Jayden and Thomas to the front of the church for the children's lesson. Well 1st thing Jayden started pushing his older boy in the back, and then he looked over at Thomas and got Thomas to start pushing the kid too. (Such a bully) After the they grew tired of angering this poor kid Thomas noticed there were steps to the alter that went all the way across the front of the church. He tapped Jayden and they started scooting all the way across the front of the church. Meanwhile there are hundreds of people watching them and the kids sermon is still in progress. Finally they got close enough that David was able to grab them and pull them back into the pew. We very quickly ducked out of the rest of the service. Soooo embarrassed!

Thomas and Jayden (Lord help us if they ever live near each other)!

All the girl cousins on my moms side (except Cynthia)

Mardi Gras

Jayden has really enjoyed the Mardi gras traditions this year. He regularly runs around the house draped in beads! And he asks me if he can eat king cake all the time (he does not understand why we don't have it at the house ALWAYS)! He has enjoyed King cake 4 different times in the last month at different families houses and events. He gets very very upset if he does not get the baby (he thinks he has to Won-ded every thing (translation win everything). He has even helped me with my mardi gras wreath making (or at least he thinks he is helping)ha ha! Jayden has grown up to be such a smart, athletic, very sweet and loving little boy.

Jayden showing off all the beads he is wearing. We had to take this picture 3 times before he approved it. After each shot he would say, "let me see" and then proceed to tell me if it is ok or to re-do it.

This is the latest King cake we had for Ami's (Mimi's) birthday I was not sure who wanted the baby more Keegan (14), Macy (7), or Jayden.

Kissing his Daddy (what a little lover)

Putting Mardi Gras beads on Pebbles (she is such a sweet patient dog)

Getting a big Kiss from Hailey after he put beads on her (against her will, but she was a good sport)
